I personally prefer driving shoes. Or wrestling shoes which are essentially the same thing but without the Nomex.

I do it all the time, I actually will use my left foot for the gas also. Sucks when you are in a car for 8hrs a day, and you have a bum right ankle, that gets stiff and sore after a few hours in the same position.

i used to be good at it when i had an automatic.. but now with the 5 speeds, the clutch and brake pedals have different feels, and i push on the brakes way too hard now
