5yrs ago: Utterly and completely drained from the endless HS drama and my experiences at the Academy of Art College. In dire need of finding myself, and by extension, what I wanted to do with my lie.

Now: Still a little shy, but much more confident and optimistic about my career goals- and where I am in fulfilling them. More cynical at times. Not in optimal physical fitness, but that's the goal over the course of this fall/ winter.

All in all, things are looking fairly good.

5 years ago: Horny, naive, extremely shy around girls, HORRIBLE acne, overweight, depressed 'cause I thought I needed a girl to make me complete, drove a Ford, virgin and and hating it

Now: nowhere near as horny or naive, not as shy around girls, barely any acne, overweight, happy 'cause I realized I don't need a girl to complete my life, drive an Acura, still as virginal but proud

5 years ago - Just graduated HS. Thought I wanted to work in technical theatre, listened to angry music, had big dreams of X-games type stuff (BMX), and generally had no idea where I was going.

Now - Just turned 23 last weekend. I'm an advertising director. I'm learning to play the piano, and my musical tastes are a lot broader. I still ride ramps but it's less and less fun... just one of those things I'll keep in the back of my mind in case I have a kid into that stuff later on. I still don't entirely know where I'm going. I know I'm good at what I do, and I wouldn't mind somehow tying in my advertising/marketing skills into a career in the arts.

Hmm lets see, I have a sophmore in college. I was a lot like I am now except I was a lot less mature, didn't have as much responsibility as I do now. I use to go out and party every weekend.

5 years ago I was starting my Sr. year of HS, working at the golf course, still driving my POS 89 Lude. I was ignorant of how a lot of the people from my town and HS were, shy, my mom did everything for me :rick: All that mattered was playing golf

Now: Definitely much more mature, not as shy, some of my friends even call me loud and semi obnoxious h: Now I drive a better car, fulfilled my childhood dreams of owning a dirtbike. I'm starting another Sr. year...the last one...finally...I'm much more independent than I was, I moved to San Diego and live away from home, and I love it...definitely found the place I want to live for a long time. I've met lots of new friends down here that are awesome, learned a lot of lessons, and I sorta see where my life is going.
