maybe you should invest in good set of prescription glasses so you can read the speed limit signs...instead of getting a lawyer to fight a fucking speeding ticket.

Ok, before I start, I want to say I am NOT flaming, I do this too.... Why is it that when we see some guy driving like a jerk we think to ourselves "What an asshole!" and then we try to keep up? Like I said, I do it too, but I dunno why. I guess I usually do it cause the guy thinks he's hot shit, so I figure if I show him he's not as hot as he thinks then he'll stop? It's weird though, if some asshole drives by me like that, I start thinking that I'm a fuken cop or something and that it's ok for me to chase him.

Dekz...i know exactly what you mean, i think it's the fact that i don't like trucks much. they just think they're so badass cause they drive tanks and can haul shit. not an excuse though, i know what i did was wrong and i've done it enough times that 1 ticket is not really too bad. so wait, why would the cop lower your speed 10-20 mph in court? what would he gain out of this?

yeah i got a stoopid ticket for going 50 in a 35! but heres the funny thing! there was traffic(it was by a school) and when i saw the cop i got into the turn lane...i told him i couldnt have been going 50 in a turn lane and still slowed down to make this turn safely....he didnt care though...he singled me out cuz i was in a company car with stupid logos all over it. he didnt even turn his piggy lights on! oh well...i delayed the original court date til next month so i can gather some facts for it. wish me luck! any recommendations? thast radar thing about it being 20% accurate is pretty good stuff...feed me more info:bowdown::thumbup:

Well the lawyer used to be the DA in one of the towns, got the 54 in a 35 reduced to 0 points, $35. The 100 in a 55 I got reduced to 4 points with 24 hours community service, maximum fine(only $250), and a reflective essay. Then I took a defensive driving course, and that takes 4 points away.
