Default vinegar+dawn=win

I have tried everything to clean my shower and it all sucks. Every cleaner I tried I had to scrub to remove even mild stains. I started cleaning it again today and had a thought. I use vinegar to clean deposits off my coffee maker, the cat fountain, and even brass for reloading. I figured it must be pretty damn powerful and it wouldn't hurt to try. But I realized it has to soak to work well and it's so thin the vinegar will just drip off. I though for a minute and remembered one of my favorite degreasers- dawn dish soap. I mixed them about 1 to 1 and sprayed it on. This shit is fucking magic in a bottle. The vinegar dissolves and breaks up the scum and the soap suspends it and keeps it from redepositing. After a few minutes most of it literally just wiped away. I just googled it and found other people have had the same exact idea and the same results. Some say it works even better if you warm it up first. Just had to share because I wish I thought of this years ago.

fuck scrubbing bubbles

Going to try. Scrubbing bubbles leave the shower so toxic in scent. Good looks, Goat! :bigok:

So the guy that owned my place before me...pretty sure he never really cleaned the shower. There's soap scum deposits on the side of the tub and some of the "tile"...it's all plastic, not real. I've used the normal over the counter stuff to no avail...thought about just trying a plastic scraper. Any ideas?
