a plastic scraper will probably be more work and might mess up the finish. try the vinegar solution, heat it up first and let it soak for about 10min. if it's the smooth shiny plastic the scum will just wipe off. it it's the more porous dull finish stuff it will take a little more work but it will still come off. if it's really bad try a magic eraser.

So the guy that owned my place before me...pretty sure he never really cleaned the shower. There's soap scum deposits on the side of the tub and some of the "tile"...it's all plastic, not real. I've used the normal over the counter stuff to no avail...thought about just trying a plastic scraper. Any ideas?
