I am trying to re-design my website using PS 7.0. What would be the best screen size for me to work with?

1280x1024? etc....

I use 1600x1200 on my home computer....but I have a 17" LCD :rick:

Thanks

realize that most people use 1024x768 as their resolution, so you'd want to design to that.

of course, you could make it a liquid site in which you wouldn't have to worry about the resolution. i.e. my site for the most part looks the same in all resolutions because i used percentages instead of pixels for width and stuff.

Yea the standard is 1024x720 now. 15" are not as common now.

I thought the standard resolution is 800x600, there are still alot of people on 640x480, I would design to 8x6.

depending on what type of site you're developing, you're going to want to go with 800x600 or 1024x768. ive worked on ALOT of computers that use 800x600 so you should take that into consideration also

trying using a index file that redirects depending on the users screen resolution and make the page using both

People see that redirection page, if you use percentages you will be fine.
