It's been 12 long years with my current company and I put my 2 weeks notice in after getting a job offer recently that I couldn't pass up. Over 50% increase in pay from what I currently make, benefits from day 1, 401k [which I'll transfer my existing to], $15k annually for school, and no more 45min+ commutes through either tunnel. This place is only 8 miles away. I'm being brought on as an Sr Engineer IV...stoked!

Thanks guys I'm excited. Hard work definitely paid off. And it's a steady Mon-Fri 730-430ish schedule. It was a long and tough hiring process due to the data they have to protect. I can't speak about a whole lot other than that I got hired to support Newport News Shipbuilding where nuclear ships and subs are built.

 

Did you have to get top secret clearance for the job?
