Today and tomorrow is all OT

 

Always, but I don't get paid for it.

 

i was thinking about this today (while mowing the lawn)

between the ages of 15-24 i worked "ot" constantly at the golf course (basically just extra hours without even being asked), but they actually needed help and i enjoyed the job.

now there are at least 300 people who do my job, so i don't feel an obligation to and i really don't care about the money.

 

which leads me to my next point...

i need a new job.

 

Exempt status and I work maybe 60 hours a week. Plenty from home. I'd be rich if they paid me OT.

 

Exempt salary status ftl. Though most weeks I don't work overtime. Pretty soon they're going to require me to work overtime, to which I will demand a raise.

 

Salary plus anything over 8 hours is OT if I have to cover for someone or work a weekend shift. DT on Sundays. Just my OT this past week will be more than my regular take home. Double paycheck for the win! It will help pay for the FMIC kit for my Legacy GT.

 

Salaried exempt here. Thankfully don't have to work much OT though. I probably average 2-3 hours of OT per week -- I'm pretty good about leaving the office at 4:45pm every day.

I have to work it sometimes given the field I work in... given the choice I wouldn't, doesn't really pay off
