Clay Bar Tips?
I recommend getting a Porter Cable dual action polisher and buffer from www.coastaltools.com Then head over to www.properautocare.com to get all the necessary accessories you need. I recommend Meguiars and S100 (from Harley dealers, its cheaper and same stuff as P21S).
Properautocare.com is good, eh, get the pads here http://www.topoftheline.com/7durvelpad.html 2 yellow (medium cutting) 2 white (light cutting) and black (wax application). To get rid of swirls I'd use DACP (Dual Action Polish Cleaner). It's in Meguiars professional line so you will more than likely have to order it. With DACP and the PC you will have to work it until it powders (so, less product is better) in about a 2x2 area. After, follow with a lighter polish. If you're going to order from properautocare.com then pick up the Klasse AIO and Klasse SG. Offers a LOT more protection/durability than a pure carnauba. And if you like the look of a pure carnauba you can top it. Blackfire is also good, difficult to work with and prone to smearing (I wash it AFTER I'm done with it just to get rid of the smearing, but if it's not particularly humid where you are you can go ahead and try BF--it's a polymer so it is very durable as well). Anyhoo, I think I hijacked this old thread.

I compared Proper Auto Care to other car detailing websites and they are one of the cheaper ones. I didn't know about Top of the Line.

Elite, for pads, I'd go with Top Of The Line. They really don't sell much else that I'd buy. Autopia.org also has a store, not to mention their forum is good for detailing advice.

Thanks.
