Default Problem with Kazzaa Lite or WMP, Real Player.. Quicktime.. etc

More often then not.. when I download AVI's... it just plays the sound....

any thoughts as to what the problem may be?

Also.. sometimes they just don't work. I'm running W2k.. have the latest version of WMP and do all the updates.

Exmp.. I downloaded Chicago. It won't play on my system.. but when I put it on our network and play it on my mom's system (Windows XP) it works.

:wtf:

www.DivX.com ... download the free program, but when prompted ... only install the driver.

http://www.divx-digest.com/software/gspot.html

or download g-spot. it's a utility that tells you which codec you need to install if an avi doesn't work.
