Gonna read up some reviews on some. problem is that my bottom of my viewable screen is 5.5" above the tv stand. that doesnt leave much clearance for most center speakers.

all you need is 60-70watts. min recommended is 20watts.

All this surround system talk has me wanting to buy one.
Any recommendations on a 3.1(ish) around $200 that would be a significant improvement over stock HDTV speakers?
At high volumes my Sanyo 42" makes an annoying "tinny" sound, and we rent enough BR movies now to justify the cost.

company out of canada. i have their 5 speaker AVHTB+ speakers hooked up to my yamaha receiver. sounds great. real cheap, only $270 shipped.
they get real loud and really clean.
