Had one a few years back, no anesthesia/Novocaine, wasn't all that bad. I've fillings and crowns done without anesthesia/Novocaine.

I'd believe it, I had my tonsils ripped out when I was about 8. No anesthesia. They just put a hook in my mouth and yanked.
My friend's mother told me that she got her appendix taken out with no anesthesia.

Not quite that old. I would rather suffer a little pain than undergo the numbness from the novocaine and the headache that follows. My dentist doesn't like it that I won't use novocaine.
