Can I play a game from japan on my PS2? IM getting ready to buy a game and it says this:

it is import PS 2 game, your machine must able to read Original import game (NTSC J) and seller will not provide any technical support on this


does any one know?

 

u need JDM PS2 to play JDM PS2 games. unless your USDM PS2 is modded

I'd get a modded PS2 just to be able to get REZ at a reasonable price.

thats funny shit, you need a "mod" chip, and your serial number has to end in R for it to work
you need a type R jdm ps2 to mod it from stock:thumbup:

my setup ...



all i use are the magic swap boot discs and i'm good to go. it'll play any dvd-r and cd-r (both burned from originals only)
