500 .. not even reporting it.. dont want it to go up.. i dunno wut to do with my car now.. to scared to leave it here.. i dont have a driveway or garage.. i might ask the neighbor to rent out his driveway or keep it at my bros house and take it out when i need it.. i dont really use my car that much.. my stock alarm didnt even go off .. i had ppl lean against the car and it went off.. but now when it counts it doesnt do shit.. my dad seen a car right next to mine and the guy gets out of my car cause he couldnt start it and the other guy was going to do it.. they broke in right underneath the door handle.. hopefully this wont set me back to much to fix

they might have been targeting it due to its lack of plates...

hope everything works out. If you've got lojack in your area, you might want to look into it.

wut happened with the alarm not going off is...
When they got in through under the door handle the alarm thinks its a key and alarm is disabled.. ****ing stock alarm.. getting a new one for sure.. already talking to neighbors about renting out their driveway.. a little to late.. but you live and learn ..

same thing happned to me a few weeks ago. rookie thiefs pry'd the windo open, and popped the door and hood and took off the battery, porbably to stop the stock alarm (if it went off at all).

The condition i found my car (98 Acura EL) was the window seal all jacked up, the ignition cover taken off and the entire steering column was pushed up into the dash, and the tilt was broke. the igniton was taken apart, and the obviosly tried to use a screwdriver in the ignition, but the ECU demobilizer kept it from starting.

The worst part about the deal is that the idiots broke the steering wheel straight off it's column. it was still attached but just stun around and round. SO, that made backing it onto a towtruck an adventure, since it was parked with the wheels cranked and no way to turn them back. In the end it was fixed, on the insurance's tab, with my $500 deductible. The total fix was $720 plus 10 days of rental.
