B16A(1)s were still ODB-0 just like the stock CRX engines. Still not worth chipping. Only newer cars are really worth doing it, and you only see results on cars that are sort of de-tuned, such as Turbo VWs.

lol, I think the first one looks sweet, the yellow paint job is ugly.

But anyways, that's all opinion and I don't want you people to all hate me cuz of it.

But anyways, I've pretty much found out what I needed to know, I'll probably start shopping around soon for a CRX Si.

since we're talking engine setups here....let me add my two cents.

get a b18c1, itr cams, valvesprings/retainers, a mild p&p job on the head, CTR .25 over pistons, jdm itr 4-1 header and custom 2.5 in cat and exhaust. thrown into a civic hatch of your choice.

you'll have a pretty quick car using mainly oem honda parts.

Or if you want to be different and do a little custom work, get an H22A4 under the hood of your 6th gen. Civic. You need a little firewall surgery but 200HP+ horsepower is a lot of engine for such a little car.
