You ever seen the interior of an HF?
It screams cheap.

But I guess weight savings are good.

I was just going to ask for a link on the Engine's...

Now, when you say if I don't know how to drive... i could fry my engine...

In my cougar I don't race really everyone/anyone I see, I never take it over 5k RPM's and such, so basically I don't horsebeat my cars, if I race I'll of course take it up there, but that's really rare...

So would the Engine last? Or not really? Under kind of "regular" driving..

I don't want to spend a fortune... (i say that now...)

Just get a new Civic and modify it.

I am planning on either getting a beater car or selling my CR-V, I dunno yet.
I'm not really downgrading, I'll be keeping my Cougar and also of course.

I just think Civics are neat, so I want to own one and play with it.

Fry your engine . Hondas can take years and years of abuse and take it and keep on truckin. Most Hondas should at LEAST last you about 15 years.

My D15B2 engine had 190,000 miles on it and I beat the hell out of that 2 fuel injector piece of crap sometimes I found it mad low on oil and everything but still kept truckin. At 207,000 miles it broke a rod. So 207,000 miles beaten up by 3 owners and lasted 15 years, not bad, and there are many Honda engines that go longer.

What do you need to boost it for?
If you build N/A it will last alot longer and have way less problems.

depends on if its tuned or not...10 psi untuned could blow it in a matter of weeks/months.

Properly tuned and assuming that there were some internal modifications (ie cams, valves, etc) I can see it being almost as reliable...granted there are no guarantees.
