im a newb to lifting. so tonight i went to the gym and decided to do the benchpress. its the machine assisted one tho. anyhoo, i had a 25 and a 35 on each side. how much did i do h:

how was it machine assisted if you had a 35 and 25 on it? Well anyways if its a standard bar and you didnt have any help then it should be 165 lbs

the bar is between two verticle columns with strings attached and makes cool noises when u do it h:

edit: the bar has hooks on it and u twist it to unhook the pegs h: :dunno:

oh yea. I know what you're talking about. Its the same as a regular bar. it helps if you dont have a spotter though because the hooks hold it up. yea you did 165 though
