sc400 is one of my faviorite cars. if you drive one you would sing lexus' praises... and i think the lx suv is a pimp mobile. so fawk joo and jor lexus hatin..

 

Lexuses (Lexi?) are actually really good cars, but I'd rather be caught dead driving any of them except for the SC430. I just don't dig them, really. I guess it's the lexus owners that do that for me... Haven't met a lexus owner I could say I really liked :fawk:. IMO I'd rather have a BMW, Jag, or Acura over one of those... I dig the styling a lot more.

Granted yes this car can pass me with easy, but for 30k, shouldn't it be able to?

I personally love the car, the only thing I'd change would be the lackluster power and maybe the taillights (make them more discrete).

 

 

we have a lexus rx300 (it'll be gone next week though). its ok, defintely a luxury vehicle. great in the snow though.

and the IS300 is ok, but for what you pay for it, it should have much more power.

and if you've never driven a lexus, i wouldn't talk whiskey.

 

IS300 a glorified Civic? Geez people, lets get out of our 127hp econo-cars and open our eyes. Is the IS a true luxury or sports car? No, it's not, but it has absolutely nothing in common with a Civic except that they both have four wheels. And just because a car is expensive doesn't mean it has to be fast. There's a bunch of 40k 3.0 A4 and MB C320's with autos that I bet you'll smoke in your little Civic. Bottom line is you're still in a Civic, so quit whining.

And your integra runs what stock with no bolt ons?
Everyone seems to think a 1/4 mile time is the benchmark of performance. When in the real world there are turns, stopping power, top speed etc. I look at things such as 50-70 acel times for freeway passing.

IS300 is the best car they've had.

All the rest are just boring. They are very well built though, but I'd never buy one because they're just blah..

 

Lexus black paint is wonderful. I detailed one and I noticed the bonnet on the PC was turning black, I though I was ruining it but sure enough, it's not clear-coted. Lexus thinks it looks better that way, well-it doesn't for that long.
