00 had rear lower valance(lip) painted... 02+ dint.... and the redline is 9000 (i've been there :fawk: )

well lets just say if you did it every single day, all the time, the engine wont last that long. Some spirited driving every now and then isn't enough to destroy the engine though.

old mazda miata trick.. we did that on my aunts.. its a pretty nice option.
