allright you need 3 things:

A domain registrar
A web host
A DNS host

You've already got the domain, and the web host (your server), but you are going to need a DNS host. At my work, I set it up with Earthlink for $4.95/month. We also have email addresses linked to it, like mymail@mydomain.com, which forwards to an actual email box, like mymailbox@earthlink.net. They gave me 3 addresses that I typed in at the registar's site (like hearsay.earthlink.net). The DNS service translates the domain name into your server's IP address...

You could also try what flipped cracker said:

I don't think it's really possible to setup your own DNS host. You're going to have to get one, like the free mydomain.com one...

DNS requires two boxes with two sepereate IPs for redundancy, and you wanna try to have those be different than your webhost, and also your SSLhost.
