Terry Wallis, who regained consciousness last month after being in a coma since a 1984 car accident, is shown in this image from television courtesy of KATV in Little Rock, Ark. The person at right is unidentified. Wallis, now 39, was riding with a friend in July 1984 when their car left the road and plunged into a creek, leaving his friend dead and Wallis comatose. On June 12, 2003, after 19 years in a coma, Wallis spoke his first words. He started out with Mom and surprised her and then it was Pepsi and then it was milk. And now its anything he wants to say, Stone County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center social director Alesha Badgley said Tuesday, July 8, 2003. (AP Photo/KATV, Little Rock)
