why? Im talking about the included CD burning with XP.

XP burning sucks. I disable it in the registry.

Yes, XP has software so you can just drag files to or copy/paste to your burner. It's a hassle. There is a registry key and you turn the value to 0 to disable it.

me > win32 subsystem.

no. It's just a bitch when you go to really burn something ... like if you put in a blank cd, it keeps popping up. I hate that.

i use musicmatch jukebox to make my regular & mp3 cds.

i use nero to copy cds.

i've got a copy of easy cd creator 5 platinum, but it was always hosing cds, so that's when i changed to musicmatch jukebox
