There will be 3 variants of the phone.
1. $999 for idiots who have more money than brains
2. $799 for dumb people who want the latest fashion iphone
3. $499 for poor folks who don't know any better.
The only difference between the 3 models is the color.
1. Obviously green aka color of money
2. Red you know color of envy
3. Brown... because that is what you're getting

iPhone 4S "world phone". The "new" iPhone will be able to get on networks featured outside of the US.
It all makes sense with the Apple Store launching in China and Apple trying to eat away at the Android installation base.

Apple won't beat out Droid, just won't happen.
Apples OS is too restrictive and people for the most part have figured out that it has no real advantage in any way.
At some point all that will be left for Apple are the fanboys with blinders on and not much else.
