Gamers: Battlefield or Modern Warfare?
If you're going to buy one of the two new FPS's, which one?
I was on the battlefield beta last night for about an hour and all I can say is ... smooth.
Graphics are tight, gameplay is very enjoyable. In fact I hopped on amazon directly afterward to pre-order, but then I saw that MW3 comes out roughly a week afterward. Hopefully I can demo MW3, if not Battlefield just got another player.
I think BF is being hyped up much, much more at least on the PS3 side of things. :hsd:

I have to download the demo of BF3, but I've played a lot of FPS, so far MW series is pretty solid (shitty online gameplay though--glitches, hacks).
BUT:
It depends on the type of player you are; online multi-player or just campaign perspective.
PS3 is hyping BF because that's their "exclusive" for first-release DLC's. (Microsoft has COD).

BF3 AND MW3 are apples and oranges. Completely different playstyles.
If you want cooperative play go with BF3.
MW3 and COD in general, is nothing but run and gun.
That said, I played the BF3 Beta and was not very impressed. Takes too long to get into the game. I didn't like having to run for miles to get to the objective (I know you get vehicles in the actual game). Didn't like being sniped from across the map either. I'll stick to run and gun.
