depends on what kind of books you're looking for. 1984 is definitely a must read, but I'm usually into science fiction/fantasy books.

Stephen King-
Eyes of the Dragon
The Stand
It
Rose Madder
The Bachman Books (4 books in one, from his pseudonym, Richard Bachman)
The Dark Tower series

Piers Anthony-
A Spell for Chameleon
Incarnations of Immortality series
Tarot

Orson Scott Card-
Ender's Game fa sho, and so far the whole series is all good

and Catcher in the Rye

Harry Potter...:ugh:

i haven't read the ender's game series yet, but i'm tempted

and the last dark tower book is coming out, rumor has it that it will be the last stephen king EVER

if you like sci-fi, there's a good series out (haven't read it but i've heard good things). the first book is called rhapsody, the author is elizabeth haydon.

anyone has questions about books, ask me
i work at a bookstore :chuckles:
just don't ask me about religious ones, b/c then i will trick you into buying something funny

I tried to read Harry Potter, 'twas whack!

Ender = I couldn't believe my sister had to read something that good in school. They always made us read shitty stuff (except Catcher in the Rye)

Stephen King said he's gonna finish the series and then retire. there are supposed to be 4 more books in the series.

i heard this was the last in the series...

you should keep reading harry potter. the beginning starts off childish, but it gets better. its wonderful b/c her language matures through the books.

Stephen King is ok. He's not the best writer.

Airframe, sphere, and Adromeda strain are all good.

In fact, all of Crichton's books are excellent IMO
