Default Protein Powder: Questions (attn: Workout Squad?)

Hi guys (and gals),

I know this has been covered before, but I was just curious as to what brands of protein powder people recommended here. I was planning to order the typical GNC Whey Protein (20grams) but don't mind spending a bit extra for better quality/ingredients. Any suggestions?

Also, does anyone recommend the GNC Mega Protein over the normal one? Has a whopping 40 grams but requires 3 scoops/serving instead of the usual 1.

Oh, and my goal is to gain mass (6% bodyfat), but I'm doing cardio daily as well.

I use Pro-Complex. It has the highest amount of protein per serving but I think it's overkill. I get mad gas whenever I drink it.

unfortunately the body can't process huge amounts of protein at once, like 40-50g in one serving. that's why the more expensive shat only has 20-30g. i pay more for EAS/Myoplex protein, but it tastes 10x better than GNC's stuff, and it gives me less gas h:

Thanks for the replies guys; they're really helpful. I think I'm going to try the Myoplex, although I'm not sure what "Stevia berry ext" is (listed in the nutritional facts).

Stevia berry ext. std>85% steviosides 25 mg*

I usually try to eat about 3 eggs + 2 cans of tuna per day in addition to something large and of the animal kingdom for dinner. The protein powder is just to complement this. I'm pretty sure my carb intake is a bit on the high side relative to my protein intake, so I'm just trying to get the ratios a bit better.

Try Buffalo

More protein that almost any other meat, and less fat then any other meat

Yeah, I've been meaning to give that a shot sometime soon. I've been sticking to lean red meat (although I'm a sucker for lamb) and chicken. I should be eating more fish, but I hate preparing it.
