Default Annoying Events, part un

Post some things that have happened to you that annoyed the all might hell out of you or someone you know.

Mine happened about twenty minutes ago. I go to wal-mart grocery shopping for about an hour, and load up. $75.00 worth of groceries later, I go to swipe my card. Denied. No big deal, I've been denied from wally before, going to try using my debit card as credit this time. Denied.

Tried it three more times. Denied. At this point, I whip out my iphone and check my account balance; $580. I say, "whatever" and hand the lady my emergency credit card, of which has a $1200 limit with no balance on it.

Denied.

In sum, I spent an hour shopping for groceries, and walked out empty handed. Now I have to go again tomorrow after work, only with cash this time.

Oh, and I hate grocery shopping. :madr:

I believe it was error on their part. I had sufficient funds in separate accounts and was still denied. I left with nothing.

And yes, F wal mart. However, in my area it is significantly cheaper than any other grocery store. The amount of groceries I got for $75 bucks would have cost me well over $100 anywhere else, and being a "poor" college student, that twenty buck spot adds up over time.

It is super inconvenient to go there though, takes twice as long to shop.

NSF in one account and got dissed for any other cards you swiped? That sounds like fraud dept is awake and well.

I had sufficient funds and then some in all accounts attempted.

When I swiped and tried entering my pin, it denied me before I even punched a number. No lo se.

Why not just use the ATM in Wal-Mart to withdrawal cash?

Back in NJ, the 7-11 near the base always declined my debit card despite the large amount of funds available. I hated having to use my credit card for an $8 purchase.
