Annoying Events, part un
Had another experience today.
The physician I'm interning for forgot her dinner at the office. I called and offered to deliver it to her house (roughly 30 minutes out of my way) she says great.
I drive all the way there and deliver the goods, she gives me a very in-genuine "thanks" and more or less slammed the door in my face.
Oh well, she's getting me into med school. Might as well put up with the crap. :chuckles:

You wanna know what's annoying? Going into Labor and Delivery at 10am, having a lady at 2cm, then at 1230 she's at 5cm, then at 3p she's at 6 cm, then they decide to do a C-section on her.
Vagina fail.
Vagina fail.
i held the door the other day at work when 100+ people are leaving all at the same time out of four double doors.
so everyone holds the door for the next person and they grab it and push it for the next and so on...
i held and this guy just said "thanks" and walked through without touching it, so i had to stop and hold it for the next girl so it wouldn't hit her in the face.

:werd: I always have a snide "You're welcome" for people who do that shit.
People who bring a shit ton of their kids to the grocery store and then don't tell them to stop milling about in the middle of packed aisles. Corral your fucking brood before I decide to accidentally slam into them with my cart.
holding doors one is true.
the other one is fuckers who get into the elevator before letting the people out. one of these days im gonna shove the fuck out of the next person who does that to me

Here's a pet peave of mine:
when you're walking and approaching a crosswalk and someone in a car stops to let you by when you're not even to the street yet. If they just kept driving, they would've passed by before you even got to the crosswalk, but instead you have to wave to them and pretend to hurry across the street. Awkward
:edit: and on a similar note, people who don't take their right of way at a four-way stop sign. It's your turn dammit, this is no time to be polite! :madr:

Last night, still without power (36hours by then) I figured I'd make the most of it and go to bed 'early'. I put my head down, 11;15 PM. Fcking neigbors that are diagonal behind me, fired up gas generators. I can sympathize the need for power, but not at the expense of others. That generator was loud as hell. We turned off ours before 10PM because it was too loud.
I'm already on edge for being without power for 36hours, so I run outside screaming for them to turn that thing off (not in those polite words). Of course they did not oblige.
Mind you, about 3 weeks ago, they hired a DJ and pretty much put on a concert from 12PM till 11PM on a Sunday blasting (Spanish) music all day. I called the police because my house walls were shaking from their speakers. That "concert" would have kept on going had I not called the police.
They clearly do not care about disturbing their neighbors.
So I went inside and grabbed my brothers green laser pointer (I think they're banned or whatever) but they're like astronomy grade and I beamed it all up in their windows. Probably not the smartest thing to do on my part, but I figured I didn't wanna be "that guy" who calls the cops on their neighbors regularly.
Well within 2minutes, that generator went off.
