Since when did this post become about 2000 HP dragsters?
And you only assume I drive an accord wagon. But wait an 89 Honda accord wagon in the USDM that runs 18 second 1/4 miles if only such an animal was in the states. Never assume anything you just made an ass out of yourself.

but you did the same. until you show me a brain dead monkey that can drive in a straight line

Um drag racing is scary specially when you think of 2000 hp dragsters that do the 1/4 mile in 5 seconds or less and going 300+ mph. One wrong thing and your family doesn't even have to pay for you to get cremated.

Yes its just so hard to get a good launch in a FWD one wheel spinner takes a big set of nuts and skills to hold back those 300HP
Im being sarcastic

Lol, actually its not that hard, and i have done it many times.

On topic, street racing was more fun than going to the track. Thats why i never went to the track. Here around dallas street racing is pretty big and its all for fun. When i have been there isnt any betting or fighting. The street can be just as safe as the track. If a dumbass does something at street races he would probably do the same at the track.

so have i,...im just trying to prove a point,..he is insinuating that drag racing doesnt take any skill at all,...when your in a 300 horsepower car,..you cant just hold the RPMs at 5k and just drop the clutch and hit the gas,...it doesnt work that way,...there is skill involved,...and as dub said earlier,..in a 2000hp dragster,...there is skill involved from keeping the car from being one with the wall

In a 2000 hp dragster yes, but in a 300hp civic it isnt that hard. I am with wagon in saying road racing is more challenging. Road racers launch, no biggie. They also have to deal with picking a line, following the line, dealing with the other people on the track, not crashing, etc etc.. Drag racers launch, then try to keep the car straight WOW how can they be so skillful.

I know road racing is more challenging, I never said it wasn't. I just disagree with the fact that he's calling drag racers pussies....a big blanket statement. Like saying anyone who drives a civic wagon is a pussy :fawk:

w3rd. racing in TX is the greatest. Everyone is real friendly and not ghetto. Plus ive seen way better cars there than anywhere back east. though it is my observation that houston > dallas, as far as number of people and ease of getting out of tickets Just my expierence.
