After a couple months you would quit unless the money was good. Being on the phone all day everyday gets old quick. Especially if your dealing with assholes. An AA probably does more work that the person(s) they support combined.

h: im not saying its not a busy or unnesscary job. but its a job a high school graduate who has common sense and a bit of computer skills can do.
whereas a teacher, a position where someone is trusted by the school and parents to teach, motivate, support, and care of children, 30 of them at a time; gets paid the same amount. and a teachers job doesnt end when the bell rings at 3. its also a take home job that ends at 10-12pm.
im just bitter because the field i want to get in to doesnt get paid jack for what gets done.

I totally agree that teachers should make more if not double what AA's make. The difference is that one teaches not for the money, but the desire. I don't know anyone that desires to be an AA. Takes a little incentive to get a decent employee to do grunt work. Not that $36K is a lot anyway.
