good info btw

why do you say that? I may toss on a greddy later down the line but why not the 1.8L? can't you turbo that too?

from what i understand turbo is more beneficial to the OBD O motors, the OBD 1 motors are also decent, but OBD II makes it tough. OBD II started for miata and most cars in 1996...so most people reco the 1995 or early for that reason.

all those mid life / gay comments are a misconception, its really ALL across the board in terms of age. Age range on miataforum runs from 16 to 85. 35 is about the mid range, but mid to late 20's have a fair amount too. as far as women, i would say 70-80% of the miata board is men, but this board certainly wouldn't suffer from more intelligent female members.

well, they're mostly MILFs...but a MILF is 10x greater than pseudo lesbians with pseudo problems and 0 automotive sense starting trouble on an automobile forum.

that i couldn't say. i really not concerned with swapping that car, and i dunno why anyone would do that. they took great pains to achieve the 50/50...why ruin that? that's the spirit of the car..

My opinion is that they are for 3 kinds of people.

1. Midlife crisis
2. rainbow coalition members
3. Women

Aside from that they are awesome autox cars but I would never buy, own, or drive one.
actually...my friend was forced to buy a miata...
cus he was broke and another friend of mine offered to sell the car for only 1000...

not engine swap, but just swap the electronics from the 1.6L to the newer 1.8L engine, would that be difficult?
