When I lived in Hong Kong, there were [and still are] 75 to 90% taxes placed on private auto sales! Apparently it is this tariff that helps support public transportation systems like the MTA, and also reduces the number of private cars on the road. :dunno:

I read a better explanation somewhere... lemme see if I can find it.

I heard singapore is worse. You must wait for a gov'ment approval or something to buy a car.

I'm sorry, but those cars are running with old shitty mitsubishi engines, have old mistu designs and the overall quality is poor, those are sold in europe and I have read owners reviews

the only high light is the Satira GTi, just cus its tuned by Lotus and thats only cus Proton owns Lotus
