How is your Thursday?
Mine was a day full of anxiety, but finally I was told I'm being promoted to Staff Sergeant (E-5).

Mine started off rather awful, if I'm honest.
Next door neighbors have been remodeling. The project should've been done in six months, it has taken nearly a year.
I'll typically work until 11 most nights, partly to get work out the door before most of my clients are up next morning.
But today at 6 in the morning, the local stone yard made an obscenely loud delivery... and I'd only gotten about five hours sleep by then.
Suffice to say, that set a low note for the day.

Woke up with a crick in my neck, right side. Had a fire call, someones electric candle failed and got really hot and caught their blinds on fire, which ended up falling onto a wooden decorative bench. Fortunately, a neighbor was outside and heard her smoke detectors going off and called, otherwise it may have been worse.
If you use electric window candles, check your tags, I didn't know this either but hers was good for up to 90 days only. Also, her breaker didnt trip.
Other than that, planned on getting a lot done.. ended up taking a super long nap (needed it) and now I have a FD meeting to go to later and then grab some wings.

work was crap. no one has any motivation, employee moral is at an all time low, and our "manager" is a complete failure as a leader who would rather play with spread sheets than fix anything.
got my bumpers painted yesterday. tossed one on today and the car is looking niiiiice. just need to touch up some small parts, reassemble, and wetsand.
