WinXP networking problem...need help

Yeap...I didn't want to do this because it's not my network, but I guess I will have to turn off simple file sharing.

that only prevents OUTSIDE traffic from coming in, as I stated before.

Actually, it also prevents traffic from within the network as well. I had a few problems where it's very intermittent....my pcs were able to access each other the instant I turn off the firewall. Norton Internet Security also has the same problem.
