The Marmon Sixteen is one of the great "classic cars" of all time. They only made 350 of them between '31 and '33, and prices average around $175,000 for one in good shape. They had a 490ci V16 with ~200 hp, in a car weighing between 5000 and 5400 lbs depending on coachwork.
What's the fastest production car of all time? The fastest I know about is the McLaren F1, at 231 mph or so. But I know that the Jaguar XJ220, the Bugatti EB110/112 and the Porsche 959 were all capable of speeds in the 220 mph range... anyone know? What about the new Bugatti Veyron, or the Vector M12??
Also - anyone know the most/least expensive? I though the McLaren was upwards of a cool million... and aren't there some Korean cars which are less than $8000 when new??

and the original mini was smaller than a crx.
Most expensive as far as i know is the Ferrari 250 GTO. As far as cheapest i'm sure there are some russian cars that could set that record.

Yep the Mini was called a Mini for a reason but I believe the Isetta was even smaller.
Ferrari 250 GTO hold the record for the highest price ever paid for a car... In auction not when new.
Yugo $3995 buy a little freedom I believe was their campaign. But The original Pintos sold for $2000 or so I think.

I have a new one - record for largest 4-cylinder engine ever produced. The Renault Grand Prix cars of the early early EARLY days (1900s)...
I came across this: 13.0L, 791cu, bore/stroke: 166mm X 150mm, 105hp.
