Default Need Help

There is a very close family friend, Jim Schmitt, i've known my whole life who recently had a massive stroke. He went in to have a routine stint put in his artery in his neck. The surgery was a success, although it loosened some plaque in a seperate part of his body and it traveled to his brain. He suffered a massive stroke. He's doing quite well, and he is better than expected. He is also a retired Air Force Colonel, and the Air Force is suppose to cover these medical bills and after care. They are not. His wife, Lulu, had to quit her job, because the aftercare is going to take a lot of time.

Jim is currently still in ICU, with the possibilty of still going into cardiac arrest. I say he is going to survive! He is going to spend atleast another month in the hospital, unpaid by the government, along with over $300,000 in medical supplies and care needed for atleast 2 years. He is paralyzed on the right side of his body, can not bend his left fingers, and has some speech problems.

What I am asking is to Donate to help Lulu in this very difficult time. She's so strong but there is only so much a retirement from the military can do. I feel for her, because her job was nothing spectacular, just a side job to keep her busy, Jim was an attorney, but will never work again. She has no income other than what the AF is giving them for retirement. I would like to surprise her with as much money as I can get donated, to help her pay some bills and get some care for him.

Anything would help and I greatly greatly appreciate it.

You can paypal me cinder_cone32@yahoo.com
or Mail a check (p/m me for the address)

Again I appreciate everything !

-Alley

He's in his late 50's early 60's. His wife is also kinda of crippled. She had knee surgery a few years ago and never recovered. She is in his early 50's. Her daughter Bebe works at the Pentagon

He has 5 children, all grown, and 14 grandchidren. I gave Lulu $50 the other day so she could get her and some of the kids something better than hospital food. I hope they take him off the liquid diet soon, he's loosing a lot of weight.

My father lost 30+ pounds when he had his near fatal stroke.

Went from 170 to 130ish.

His aneurysm is inoperable...
