I heard on the radio yesterday that Rancid left Epitaph and signed to Warner Brothers?!?! Please someone tell me that its not true. They can't leave epitaph!!!

umm..... inorder to be sellouts don't they have to be all over mtv and become rich and famous and then change their music to appeal to the masses and sell their songs for commercials??

i know rancid had some moderate success about 5 years ago, but i hardly call signing to a major record label sell-outs.
