So I must be doing ok..
Last month made 3 years that I've worked for the same company.. I just went in and asked for a raise and they gave me a $1.00/hr more plus they told me to come back in 6 months and I they will give me an additional .50 cents. They said that they were very happy with me and want to make me happy so that I would stick around.
For anyone that knows me this is crazy. I do crap for work all day as a graphic designer. I am on HAN and AIM more than I work and everyone in my office sees this, but then again, I catch them surfing the net quite a bit during the day too.
I can't complain because I'm excited.

Way to go madlow
Surfing and AIM gets ya raises....I did the same thing at my last job and they gave me 2 raises in a year.....then they closed up shop

But you do learn how to get your work done and still be able to surf the net. Sometimes I'm working twice as hard and other times I dont dont have anything to do. I'm just glad that it's this relaxed here.

I'm doing the same thing, I feel pretty worthless, but I'm getting paid to whore HAN and talk on AIM and MSN. Occasionally I'll have something to do. Like now I'm supposed to be putting together information for a multimedia CD that we're going to be doing, but I have no clue what to do 
, so yea . I have to talk to the owner about it and he's always busy.

I had it easy though because most the time all they wanted me to do was DL MP3s and program files all day or keep them posted on current news. Once in a while I would have to edit a few reports (usually 300+ page reports) but that was quick and easy editing and formatting....1 hour or so tops.
I miss that job so much

damn.. i wish my design job was slower and they gave me more money.
I work for a bunch of tight asses, that really like my work, but dont want to pay me anymore money.
I do work for Comcast cable, and some other cable companies, and let me tell you, they are the biggest bunch of pricks!! When i don't know what to do, my boss yells at me, and i have to pull something out of my ass.
I wish i had a design job like what you have.. im happy for you.
P.S. if anyone knows of any Design Places hiring in the MD area, let me know! :thumbup: i'm really getting tired of this place! ok.. im done ranting :rant:
