Moving out....
In approximately 4 hours and 20 minutes (hmm...) the storage/moving company is going to be here to pick up all the stuff I'm not taking home with me over the summer. After that my room at my apartment will be for the most part totally empty.
After that I have a 12:45 pm flight to Reagan (fuck that fucking guy!) National Airport in DC. I'll be back at my parents' house in Maryland for about two months although 6 days out of eash week I'll be up at a summer camp as a counselor. It's gonna be dope as hell.
In August I come back to Madison and move into my new apartment. The good thing though is that I don't really have to "move," since the storage/moving company just drops off all my stuff on a specified date and time of day. Then I just have to unpack.
Goodbye Junior year, hello Senior year 1 of 2.

It appears that I may have underestimated my needs in terms of the number of available cardboard boxes.
Three hours til the movers get here, and there's a 24-hour convenience store a block away that I'm always buying stuff at. I'm gonna go see if dudes will hook me up with some boxes.
*update* I now have two more boxes. All is well.

I will say this--packing fucking sucks.
I don't even really have a lot of stuff, but I still have a lot of stuff. I'm bringing everything I could possibly need for 2 months with me to Maryland (aside from a desktop computer, home theater, dishes, pots, pans...freakin aye that's a lot of crrrrrrap) and yet I still have to pack all this shit up for storage.
I'm most of the way done now though, I just have to pack up some shoes in one box and some assorted odds and ends in the other. Then it's on to getting my room cleaned up and finishing up packing for my trip which by comparison will take no time at all.

Hope to finally be off on my own for once
