God Hates Me
So today I go out and attempt to get my pos car back on the road since it has been sitting there for a couple weeks. So I go out and I find all the hardware I dropped so now I have all my valve cover grommets and the screws for them. I put new bolts in my timing belt cover, fill up my coolant reservoir and I'm good to go. I start the car and it starts and purrs nicely so I know I didn't bend any valves which I was scared I did. But then the alternator belt squeels. So I turn off the car and figure I will go tighten the alternator brackets so the belt is real tight. So I go and do it and break the goddam head off of one of the bolts. So now I gotta jack up the car, pull out an axle, drop this pos alternator down and get this shit out of it. Goddam God hates me and my car. And now I remembered I can't even drive my car since the ****ing state revoked my registration. Goddamit.

For the people saying God doesn't hate me, I assume you are practicing Christians, it was just an expression, I don't think God really hates me.
As for my car the reason I thought I belt a valve was because my dumbass took off the timing belt so my cam gears were at TDC. Then I turned the crank pully 360* for curiousitys sake or something. So then I was thinking that at some points it was hard to turn the pulley. So then I thought maybe some valves were down and I made the piston hit them. But I don't know, maybe at TDC all the valves are up or something.
As for my car I got the alternator out. It took me a long time to figure out how. I eventually pulled the axle and the intake manifold support, and my intermediate shaft, and oil filter, and O2 sensor and finally got enough room to get it out. I got what was left of the broken bolt out of the alternator got new bolts at the hardware store and then reinstalled it and it's good go now. I'm taking it to inspection tomorrow. But first I have to put a fuse in since my dumbass forgot to turn off the battery and my wrench touched the alternator and I guess the body of the car and blew a fuse. I also want to put some clamps on my coolant hoses. And then new bolts for my radiator brackets.
So yeah medium times if not good times.
Also Impact Wrench is my best friend in the world. Now I can take off lug nuts with the wheels in the air, same with axle nuts. Mmm... Anti-Seize lubricant is my 2nd best new friend.
