Default Tire plug question

If you were to get a plug in ur tire cause you ran over a nail or something, would you be able to notice the plug in it a couple days after they put it in? Or would it blend in to the tire and look just like the rest of the tread? Would the plug blend in so well that it could not be noticed when inspecting a dry tire w/a flashlight?

youll notice it. its a pretty big plug. itll never "go away" because it goes right through the tire.

so no matter if you run through dirt, rain, mud, shit, piss, so long as there isn't mud or anything else covering the tread, you will be able to notice a plug that just got put in ur tire 2 days ago if ur inspecting it up close and personal with a flashlight?

as for the size of the plug, would it be safe to assume that it's the size of a pencil eraser or smaller and if inserted into the part of the tread on ur tire that's smooth(no lines or anything on it, just a chunk of rubber) that it'll blend it to where you wouldn't be able to notice it?

My brother got one in its tire, I saw them do it. If I remember it was green and a tire is obviously black. I haven't looked at it but I would assume you would at least see a green spec on the tire surface.

hmm, the one they used on my old tires was black. so lets just say for the sake of argument that they used a black one, would you be able to point it out on a tire, even if it was on a part of the tread that was smooth?

so even if it's installed in the part of the tread that's perfectly smooth, you could spot it? What I mean by perfectly smooth is you know how on new tires the tread is damn near 1/2 deep? Well if the plug got installed on one of those sections where it's 1/2 deep and a solid chunk of the tread, not in between breaks in the tread, would it be noticeable?
