HAN won't load on my Laptop

Maybe it's the router's filtering system?
I know that you can filter out certain content by MAC address on a Linksys router.
Let's say if I don't want a PC on my network to access pRon, all I do is find the MAC and put a filter on it with certain criterias.....badaboom....no more pRon.
