I got summoned last Wednesday. Had to fill out a questionare and appear again today.


Today...from 9-430, about 40 of us did nothing but sit on a chair and hear jury selection questioning on 18 potential jurors. That was the most boring 8 hours of my life. EVAR. Now I got to appear again tomowrow morning and hope that I get excused when I get called up.

Missing 3 days is really going to hurt me financially I dont mind serving for 1-3 days...but this trial is expected to last 6 weeks. That's going to hurt.

 

Pretend you are really sick and can't go.

I seriosuly doubt it will work tho.

 

thats not going to work...they'll just prospone u. i just want to get this done with so i got at least a year with no hassles.


like i said...i dont mind serving...i feel it is my duty. but i cant do it for 6 weeks. thats really going to be a problem for me financially.

 

you hate white people all white people or black or asian what ever color the lawyer is tell that to the judge.

 

the lawyers are black and white.

 

answer questions racially. show bias. I guarentee that you won't get chosen.

 

ask the white lawyer if he is afraid of the black lawyer, then before he answers say. I'm scared of him too. He looks like he want to beat me up

 

:werd: after every answer say something under your breath, like

No I've never been convicted of a felony, you'd like that wouldn't you whitie!

 

I got one a few weeks ago. I took it to the court house and told them not only am I not a resident of the county, but I'm not a resident of the state. I am only temp living here for school.


They took care of it. and I dont have to go. Its good to have duel residency(sp)

 

When they ask you anything, just say. "I trust in our Police 100%. If they arrested him, then he must be guilty. Simple as that." The defense lawyer will get rid of you real fast.
