I've been wanting something a little more mature. Something that looks more "classy" even when modified. I wanted the room and I love the interiors....

congrats on the car. a friend of mine recently got an 01 GLS 1.8t and he loves it.

edit: He's getting deep dish brock b1's pretty soon...I mean DEEEEP dish versions of these. The offsets are insane:

Most Jetta's are made in Mexico :uhh: Are the VR6's made there too or are they made in Germany?

It is a nice car. What are the hp specs on it? How well does it handle mods?

It handles mods reasonably well, but nothing like the 1.8t.
It wont get engine work from me anyway, so no worries.

It makes 174hp and 181ftlbs of torque.
