Uh...old thread revival. But I'm watching this movie right now and it's fawkin' badass. I'll let you know at the end, but so far I like it better than The Matrix.

I like how this thread was revived numerous times, anyways, ya it really was a good movie. Not really a similarity to Fahrenheit 454 but I get what you mean when the Firefighter becomes a hypocrite and starts to read books behind the firefighter's backs. (Maybe you read it a few days before?)

Anyways, I liked Matrix better for the story, but Equilibrium just went all out on action scenes h:

I liked Equilibrium's story, acting, and action better.

The only thing I kept thinking the whole time was 1984, though.

I liked the story, but I just liked Matrix better. I wasn't into these movies as much as I am now, so I really should see it again to give it more appreciation.
