It's relatively new. I'd never heard of it until I was at my friend's house the other night. We watch it and I was like wow!

I saw this movie last night. I thought it was interesting. The storyline something that's been done before many a times before but with a few interesting mixes.

Action sequences were good but still a notch below the Matrix.

Overall I would say 3 out of 5 stars. BTW anyone else read Fahrenheit 454 and see the similarities?

 

I was also very impressed with this movie. While it did seem to be lacking in realism in a couple of spots, the action sequences DEFINITELY made up for it!

A "must have" for your DVD collection!

 

i picked it up the other day based on the praise everybody gave it, it owned, i want to read Fahrenheit 454, but haven't had time, did anybody listen to the director commentary? has some nice insight

In Fahrenheit 454s world. Books are banned. Firemen nolonger put out fires but burn books. One of the firemen switches sides, essentially. I found it very similar to Equilibrium.
