someone explain this real quick....(bandwidth q)
im on 56k. :squint: my computer shows that im connected at 48Kb/s. ok thats fine. now when i am dling files...i best i can get is 5-6Kb/s and average about 3-4Kb/s
what gives.

it's normal WiLL
8bit = 1 byte thus 48kbit = 6kbytes.

I doubt it's the router.
more like the ISP has banks of modems which are also 56kb/s.
i doubt their routers top out at 10kb/s
