i've seen them they are basically what you are talking about but they are still called routers ( :dunno: ), i used to work in the it department at my college, i've seen them (we provide all students that want it with a free dial-up connection)

just go to cable. I'm paying $6 more a month for cable than i was paying for AOHELL. damn worth it!

yea...but that yearly contract is the only thing stopping me...since my mom talks about moving so often.

they want a yearly contract? that sucks.

I know i was kinda ticked when they told me i HAD to pay the $61 installation fee, but when they showed up to hook up my connection, they ran me a fresh cable line into the house specifically for the computer. some cable companies don't do that, some do. It's nice cause i know there's nothing else on my connection
