Does the screen you ordered have all of the plastic and everything around the screen already? or is it just the screen?

Mine was the full unit, if it's just the screen, it might be more involved.

Oh, and yeah, it would be a perfect time to replace the keyboard, it'll just pop right in when your putting everything back together.
It's just the screen... I just pulled it apart real quick.. to see how hard it is to get the bezel off. It seems to be a bit harder along the bottom edge..It's stuck in one spot. But hey.. in the meantime.. new keyboard! So that's in. No more fucked up "L" key. Once I get the screen I'll go back to it all serious like.

Changed a keyboard once before on my mom's old Dell. This one was a lot easier to swap out then her's was. Gah.. I'm just really paranoid of snapping the bezel. It's already cracked a little in one of the corners.. but I was able to work around that just fine. It's that bottom spot I'm worried about. Ah well.. I'll figure it out when the screen gets here.

Google for some disassembly instructions.
I did my ladys screen on her hp and its easy. Find a dead laptop online.
Most times its cheaper to just get a new laptop though.

oh, dude, that's not bad at all.

I should have taken a pic of the one i fixed, it was destroyed. I was having fun poking it and watching the liquid spread through the screen.

Also, if you break your plastic around the screen, get some JB plastic wield. It'll fix that right up.
