ive been ignoring an old phone company that sent me to a 3rd party collections before christmas. that shit still hasn't show up on my credit report, but it's technically under a partnership business and not my own SSN.

they are supposed to use your SSN

if it is under your name

then it might be report to your credit

 

I am thinking of saying **** off to my DSL company in Montreall.. cause they have done nothing but screw me over since the beginning. I still owe them appx $250 canadian. I am gonna close the bank account which is empty anyways. They can blow me.

most 3rd party collection depts wont touch an account for less than $500. they only get a <40% return from the payee so its not worth their time.

i tol dthese fools in feb i "needed more time" and would contact them back. since then i am starting a new business, getitng new phones, and trying to get a mortgage, so i dont wanna piss them off and see that shit on my credit...at the same time i dont feel i owe them $500 for their lousy account department cutting off my service.

 

FI's are different, they themselves are directly linked with a credit bureau, as opposed to a company that would have to use a 3rd party to collect for them.
